Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Niceville, FL is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential psychological services within a dynamic school environment, fostering student success and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure prehensive student support
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school munity
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate records
