12Volt Technical Support Specialist (Car Audio Expert)
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional technical assistance to our CUSTOMERS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in car stereo installation experience and possess excellent troubleshooting skills to help customers that call with their installation. · Car stereo installation experience a MUST.
Duties but not limited to:
· Provide technical support to customers on various installations of our products.
· Answer customer inquiries about Metra products and car stereo installation questions.
· Data Entry and R&D - Update vehicle application charts using Excel
· Car stereo installation experience a MUST.
· Troubleshoot issues, and guide customers to an easy and seamless installation using our network.
· Strong knowledge of Office suite applications
Experience & Requirements:
● Car stereo knowledge is a MUST and installation experience preferred.
● Ability to utilize resources to research vehicle information.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to end-users and have a friendly phone manner.
● Must be able to speak well with customers and have patience.
● Intermediate level computer skills preferred.
● Metra product knowledge is a major plus.
Hours are 9am-7pm Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm Saturday, and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Must be flexible for training purposes and rotate shifts as necessary for business purposes. This position demands someone flexible and able to wear many hats as it requires you to switch roles as business necessitates. Weekend hours rotate so you are on once a month.
