We are seeking an experienced and dependable Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to help manage day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure our building systems are amenities are functioning at its best.
Position Summary:
As the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing the upkeep of the condominium's common areas, building systems, and residents' service requests. You will also help coordinate a team of maintenance staff and vendors to ensure high-quality service and timely responses to issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist i supervising daily maintenance operations, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
Conduct routine inspections of the building systems, common areas, and equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
Respond to and resolve resident maintenance requests/work orders in a timely and professional manner.
Help manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time.
Supervise and assist maintenance technicians and security as needed.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment logs, and supply inventory.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, building codes, and the condominium's policies.
Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school certification preferred but not required.
3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or condominium buildings.
1+ year in a supervisory position with team leadership is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and basic carpentry.
Familiarity with condo association regulations and resident relations.
Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot effectively, and work independently.
Good communication and CUSTOMER SERVICE skills.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
Knowledge of local building codes and OSHA safety regulations.
