Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex civil and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for leading day-to-day site activities, supervising subcontractors and crews, ensuring safety and quality standards, and coordinating with project management teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, workforce allocation, and subcontractor performance.

  • Enforce compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment in alignment with OSHA standards.

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality control procedures.

  • Manage site logistics, including materials, equipment, and resources.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate daily reports, progress logs, and field documentation.

  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for project managers, engineers, and client representatives.

  • Identify and address field issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of construction experience, including 5+ years in a superintendent capacity.

  • Background in water/wastewater, heavy civil, or industrial construction strongly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and process piping systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, crews, and field operations.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

  • Skilled in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

  • Proficiency with field reporting and documentation practices.
