  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code), OSHA safety standards, and Florida state regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify solutions, and ensure systems are safe and compliant.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to complete work on schedule.
  • Maintain proper documentation of completed work and provide status updates to project leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local building codes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of verifiable electrical experience.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge ofNEC standards, OSHA safety regulations, and Florida Building Code.

  • Must supply own tools, equipment, reliable transportation, and general liability insurance.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.
  • A Journeyman License is not required for this role; however, relevant certifications or trade school training are preferred.

Compliance Notes (1099 Independent Contractor Status)

  • This role is structured as independent contract work (1099). You are not an employee and will not receive company-provided benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid leave.
  • Contractors are responsible for their own federal and state taxes, workers’ compensation (if applicable under Florida Statutes for subcontractors), and insurance coverage.
