Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist at Jacksonville, FL! This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Role: Phlebotomist
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32258
Shift Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Mandatory Saturday Rotation: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Highlights: $17-19.75/hour (Based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Phlebotomy
- Perform high-quality venipuncture and capillary collections, including pediatric and geriatric draws
- Explain procedures clearly and professionally to patients
- Create an atmosphere of trust, safety, and confidence
Specimen Handling & Documentation
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols
- Accurately label specimens and complete all required documentation
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality, safety, and quality standards
Operational Excellence
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (Required)
Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
