Job Description
As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Full-Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, support access control, and communicate clearly with tenants, guests, and site teams while documenting activity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public services as directed by post orders.
- Control access as assigned by checking identification, issuing visitor passes, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing guests to approved locations.
- Complete timely written and/or electronic reports, document unusual activity and maintenance concerns observed during patrols, and communicate updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
