About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor with HVAC Certification at Waters Pointe Apartments plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of all HVAC systems within the residential community. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repair schedules, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to enhance system reliability and resident comfort. T

Maintenance Supervisor-Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid HVAC certification or license recognized by the state of Florida.
• Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, preferably in a residential or multi-family housing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a maintenance setting.
• Precise experience with scheduling, supervising and completing maintenance repairs

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring timely and effective completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing technical expertise and hands-on support as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Coordinate with property management and external vendors to schedule repairs, procure parts, and manage service contracts.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory levels.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff best practices, safety procedures, and new technologies.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed and participate on Emergency On-Call schedule.
