Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time school psychologist position is available to provide comprehensive psychological services for K-12 students in multiple schools. The role involves supporting students through testing, counseling, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings to promote their academic and emotional well-being.
Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL
Duration: ASAP through June 2, 2026 (aligned with the school calendar)
Schedule: 35 hours per week, onsite (no remote or hybrid options)
Assigned Schools: Likely serving Ft. Pierce Westwood, PreK, and Northport K8 campuses
Caseload: K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing for students
- Provide counseling and support services to students
- Participate in team meetings, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary collaborations
- Deliver timely and accurate reports and documentation
- Maintain active communication with school staff and families to support student needs
Required Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health (DOH) licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple campuses and prioritize caseload efficiently
- Availability for full-time onsite work throughout the school year
