We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our prestigious legal firm. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in the legal industry, specifically in litigation, with a deep understanding of case strategy, treatment, trial, and settlement. This role requires exceptional negotiation and trial preparation skills, as well as the ability to maintain communication with clients, carriers, and defense counsel. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in Florida.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney in our firm, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Developing and implementing case strategy, treatment, trial, and settlement plans to ensure successful litigation outcomes.
2. Maintaining consistent and effective communication with clients, carriers, and defense counsel to keep them informed about case progress.
3. Attending depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials to represent and advocate for our clients.
4. Managing the post-settlement process, including reviewing closing statements, final balances, and liens.
5. Utilizing strong negotiation and trial preparation skills to secure favorable settlements for our clients.
6. Drafting and reviewing legal documents, briefs, and motions, ensuring they are accurate, thorough, and legally sound.
7. Staying updated on industry trends, laws, and regulations to provide informed legal advice and strategy.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to the Florida State Bar and in good standing.
3. Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil litigation, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation.
4. Proven track record of successful litigation, including trial practice.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Proficient in legal research and writing.
7. Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
9. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
10. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
