The clubhouse attendant provides a professional and competent image along with a friendly and outgoing attitude at the property. The club house attendant is a key employee liaison between guests and residents.
Duties and Essential Functions

Greet all guests in a standing upright position as they enter the community maintaining the highest quality of customer service.

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of unit owners, visitors, and other persons to guard against Illegal entry. All “check-in” policies and procedures must be followed without any exceptions.

Utilize proper phone etiquette for all incoming and outgoing phone calls made to residents. All calls should be clear and in a professional manner.

Follow Opening and Closing Procedures of the Club House.

Monitor Resident and Guest compliance of Association Rules and Regulations

Maintain and organize the pool area including the furniture , pool toys, grills

Ensure all beverage offerings are available and monitored for refills throughout the shift.

Maintain tableware, cups, napkins, straws refilled and readily available.

Take reservations for grills and clubhouse tables.

Set up umbrellas, lounge chairs, side tables, and other pool equipment as needed. Assist residents with the same.

Ensure residents are complying with Association Rules and Regulations.

Report all maintenance items to the work order system and notify supervisor immediately.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.
Work Environment
The position will be outdoors, located in a beach and pool environment with moderate noise level.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full time (32 hours or more a week). This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
Required Education and Experience
- Prior experience in a related position.
- Experience at a luxury property or hotel is strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
- Must convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during highly stressful situations.
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative environment with various team members in other departments.
- Must be able communicate effectively with other team members and guests.
