Part-Time Bakery Assistant & Client Communications Support (Entry Level)

Brookie Cookie Bakery is a luxury bakery specializing in custom cakes, cookies, and dessert bars. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time team member to assist with bakery production and manage incoming client inquiries across phone and digital platforms. Our ideal candidate values a flexible schedule and has a desire to learn to bake and decorate. Any experience level is welcomed to apply.
Responsibilities
• Assist with bakery prep, baking support, packaging, and order staging for photos and pickup
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally
• Monitor and respond to email, Instagram DMs, the knot and website inquiries in a timely manner
• Use provided templates to respond to clients and log inquiries
• Support order confirmations and pickup coordination
Schedule
• Hours to be determined
• Flexible scheduling with availability during peak production days
• Weekend shifts required (average 2-4hrs)
Pay & Incentives
• Hourly pay $14
• Per-job completion bonuses for order prep, inquiry management, and events

Qualifications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable working in both kitchen and administrative settings
• Ability to follow systems, scripts, and brand standards
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs
