Work Schedule:
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends as needed.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As the Lab Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department lab
- Ensure accurate and timely laboratory test results
- Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory personnel
- Monitor workflow and ensure adequate staffing
- Resolve production errors and implement process improvements
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Engage in quality control and assurance activities
- Conduct regular coaching sessions with your team
- Perform bench work as needed and maintain technical proficiency
What We’re Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technologist
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly preferred
- Florida Supervisor Generalist license
- ASCP Certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- The ability to adapt and make decisions in a changing environment
Working Conditions:
