Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Traveling Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams at all seven of our clinics, providing consistent, professional service and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. This role requires travel to our locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations (ECHO, general, vascular, soft tissue, renal etc.) as ordered by physicians.
- Travel between multiple clinic locations as scheduled.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated; report service needs promptly.
- Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Accurately document and transmit imaging results to interpreting physicians.
- Receive reports in a timely manner and upload them to the patients' chart for provider interpretation.
- Maintain compliance with all company, state, and federal safety and privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Assist in workflow efficiency, scheduling coordination, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Must hold or be eligible for Florida state licensure (if applicable).
- Certification: ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI required.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel between locations.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
