Position Overview

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you will support attorneys and clients critically, ensuring seamless estate planning processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and passionate about helping individuals navigate these essential legal matters with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of estate plans, ensuring all documents comply with legal requirements.
  • Communicate directly with clients, financial institutions, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and address inquiries.
  • Maintain well-organized client files (both digital and physical), ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning.
  • Paralegal certification or degree in legal studies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning documents and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software, case management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
