Location: Miami, Florida
Position: Parts Runner/Warehouse Clerk
Summary: The Parts Runner / Warehouse Clerk shall be responsible for delivery of parts to Field Technicians, and shipping, receiving, stocking and issuing parts. Responsible for responding to customers’ needs in a positive, caring and timely manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fill part requests from Field Technicians and local customers, including offsite delivery and pickup of inventory from local vendors. Candidate should expect frequent requests for deliveries.
Gain a working knowledge of parts manuals and other reference materials to efficiently process part requests.
Conduct inventory counts for the warehouse, outside racks, consignment locations, and Field Technician vehicles.
Complete parts sales order transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction as measured by management.
Complete all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory levels n parts warehouse using the inventory management system.
Build hydraulic hoses to spec on request. Training will be provided.
Maintain parts operations office, warehouses and outside yards so that they are neat and orderly as accessed by Supervisor.
Conduct a daily safety walk thru report. Ensure all emergency exits and aisles are clear, fire extinguishers clearly marked, visible and checked for expiration. Any safety issues should be reported and addressed. Any building maintenance issues such as lights not working should also be noted and reported to the Facilities Manager.
Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Will assist with local parts deliveries whenever needed.
Must be able to complete the company forklift training.
