• Base Pay Range: $27.72 – $39.60/hour (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus:

  • $10,000 – Day Shift

  • $15,000 – Night Shift

• Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)

Overview

A high-volume acute care hospital in Tallahassee, Florida is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) to join a collaborative and fast-paced emergency department.

This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in critical decision-making environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered emergency care across all acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and treatment of patients across the lifespan

• Manage care for patients ranging from minor injuries to critical and trauma-level conditions

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient presentation

• Prioritize and manage multiple patients simultaneously in a dynamic ER setting

• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams

• Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and appropriate referrals

• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Florida RN license or compact RN license

• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN experience

  • Critical Care experience may be considered

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma

• BLS certification (required prior to start)

Required Within 90 Days of Hire:

• ACLS

• PALS

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention

Preferred:

• BSN

• Prior experience in a high-acuity or high-volume emergency department
