As a Service Advisor in the pool cleaning industry, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking professional pool cleaning and maintenance services.
Your role is to ensure customer satisfaction by offering expert advice, managing service requests, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with the cleaning teams. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing product and service recommendations tailored to their needs.
- Schedule and coordinate pool cleaning and maintenance services based on customer requests, ensuring proper allocation of resources and timely completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve service-related issues, offering solutions that align with the company’s standards and customer expectations.
- Educate customers about additional services or products that could enhance their pool’s maintenance or overall functionality, such as repairs, chemicals, or equipment upgrades.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and high customer retention.
- Provide customers with accurate service quotes based on pool size, location, and cleaning requirements.
- Work closely with the cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of customer service history, including notes on repairs, cleaning schedules, and product recommendations.
- Collect customer feedback to help improve the quality of services offered and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a service industry.
- Basic understanding of pool care, cleaning, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and management.
- Capable of handling customer concerns and offering effective solutions.
- Ability to upsell additional products or services in a consultative, customer-first manner.
- Experience in scheduling, managing appointments, and handling multiple tasks at once.
- Accurate in recording customer data and service requirements.
- Comfortable using scheduling software, customer management systems, and basic office tools.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in a customer service, sales, or service advisor role (preferred).
- Experience in the pool cleaning industry or related field is a plus.
