School Psychologist
Duties:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of students
- Provide counseling and support services to students, parents, and staff
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop strategies for student success
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies or difficult situations
- Monitor student progress and make recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of school psychology
Experience:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably in a school district
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
