Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
Aire Radio Networks is seeking an experienced Traffic Director to manage and optimize daily traffic operations across our national radio network. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate scheduling of commercials, programming, and network logs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in media traffic operations, with hands-on experience using Counterpoint Traffic Software or equivalent platforms, and a solid understanding of national network workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, edit, and reconcile daily network logs across multiple stations and affiliates

Schedule commercial content and programming to ensure accurate traffic flow and inventory management

Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Affiliate Relations teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and confirm campaign delivery

Maintain up-to-date traffic system records, including advertiser information, cart numbers, and broadcast instructions

Monitor rotation schedules and compliance with contractual requirements

Meet daily log deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Provide support and training to junior traffic staff as needed

Assist with post-log reporting and troubleshoot log discrepancies

Work with technical teams to resolve issues related to traffic software and automation systems
Required Qualifications:

2–5 years of experience in a media-related traffic department, preferably within a network or national radio setting

Proficiency in Counterpoint Traffic Software; familiarity with similar systems (e.g., WideOrbit, Marketron, RCS) is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Effective communication and problem-solving abilities

Experience managing high-volume logs and working with multiple stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software

Bilingual (English/Spanish); ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal teams and affiliate partners
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with affiliate network operations and barter-based programming

Experience with digital traffic workflows or podcast ad operations

Understanding of compliance standards related to commercial traffic and scheduling
Work Environment:

This role is based in a traditional office setting and requires on-site presence during standard business hours

The work is primarily sedentary, involving extended periods of sitting and computer use

Occasional availability may be required outside of standard hours to address log emergencies or meet critical deadlines
