Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal team in various aspects of litigation and legal research. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and corporate meetings, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and complete.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and discovery materials
- Maintain and organize case files and legal documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the case
- Attend court hearings and take notes for attorneys
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents
- Review and summarize legal documents and case law
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal field
- Certification from an accredited paralegal program preferred
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in legal research tools and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
