Associate (Construction) Project Manager

Job DescriptionJob Summary: As an Associate Project Manager at SBI you will play a crucial role providing support in various aspects of project implementation and execution. Your responsibilities will include assist the Project Managers with leading small to mid-sized projects and ensuring superior client service. You will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and assist in managing project budgets, while supporting the Project Manager with the entire project lifecycle.
Salary based on experience. The salary listed does not include annual bonus. Medical insurance is covered for the employee by Solutions Builder. Please note salary expectations MUST be answered. Candidates who do not answer salary expectations will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management. Assist and Support the Project Managers with the following:
- Project implementation, from programming and design to permitting, bidding, and construction management.
- Supporting the management of projects from +/- 75k-250k RSF.
- Developing and managing project budgets, including hard and soft costs.
- Coordinating and managing project scheduling, team selection, and financial management.
- Building and carrying out marketing and development initiatives to enhance client relationships.
- Providing on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are met.
- Developing relationships with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Accounts Receivable. Assist and Support the Project Managers with the following:
- Ensuring that all accounts receivables are maintained within planned working capital charge limits.
Administrative. Assist and Support the Project Managers with the following:
- Coordinating and track all RFPs, Contracts, Invoices, etc.
- Maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management or Engineering from an accredited institution preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in the field of Construction.
- Knowledge of the construction, architecture, or commercial real estate industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive-level internal and external clients.
- Organizational and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage differing business needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic knowledge of BlueBeam.
- Ability to multitask within a team structure and independently.
Working Conditions:
- Position may work primarily at the client site or project location.
- Face-to-face and/or remote daily interpersonal interaction is usually required.
