Job Description / Responsibilities:
1. Business Intelligence Support:
o Support users in the use of BI tools to query files and databases.
o Assist in the use of OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) tools.
o Extract, collect, and preprocess data for queries and report outputs.
2. Report Development and Analysis:
o Design, develop, and maintain reports.
o Create user documentation for BI tools and reports.
o Monitor customer usage and batch query processes.
o Ensure interoperability, performance, and security of front-end BI
components.
3. Data Preparation and Analysis:
o Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
o Apply statistical techniques to analyze trends, patterns, and relationships.
o Conduct exploratory data analysis to derive actionable insights.
4. SQL and Data Management:
o Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
o Optimize queries for performance while maintaining strict data integrity.
o Maintain metadata coordination and support production systems.
5. Collaboration:
o Participate in one or more projects as a team member under the supervision
of senior professionals or managers.
o Provide user support, training, and guidance as needed.
Required Experience / Qualifications:
1. Education:
o Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
or related field or
o Technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
2. Work Experience:
o Minimum 7 years of IT experience.
o Minimum 5 years of experience with business intelligence tools and
systems.
o Minimum 5 years of experience with economic and/or statistical analysis.
3. Skills / Knowledge:
o Proficiency in BI and OLAP tools.
o Strong SQL query development and optimization skills.
o Knowledge of data modeling, process modeling, and data architecture
methodologies.
o Ability to analyze and interpret data within organizational objectives.
o Maintain high standards of data integrity and report accuracy.
4. Other Requirements:
o Professional standard and quality in line with IT professionals in Florida.
o Ability to undergo Level 2 background screening (fingerprinting and FDLE/FBI
check).
o Authorized to work in the U.S. and E-Verify compliant.
5. Performance Criteria:
o Meet assigned project deliverables on time.
o Provide accurate and actionable analyses.
o Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or confidential data.
o Exhibit independence while coordinating with supervisors or managers.
