Sun State International Trucks is a locally-owned, full-service dealership representing the International brand with five locations throughout Florida. We proudly sell and service IC Bus, Hyundai Translead trailers, Globe trailers, and provide parts and service for all mid- to heavy-duty truck brands.
We’re currently looking for a Service Porter (CDL) to join our Tampa team!
Service Porter (CDL) About the Role:
As a Service Porter, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our service department runs smoothly and safely. You’ll be responsible for transporting customer units, test driving trucks, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the service bays. If you’re dependable, organized, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you!
Service Porter (CDL) Key Responsibilities:

Safely pick up and deliver customer trucks, buses, and other units

Test drive mid- to heavy-duty trucks as needed

Maintain shop cleanliness and safety (sweeping, trash removal, organizing tools)

Check in vehicles dropped off for service

Support the service team with various tasks as needed
Service Porter (CDL) Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid Class B CDL (Required)
-
Class A CDL (Preferred)
-
Experience in the commercial transportation industry

Good driving record that meets company standards
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The ability to operate hand tools, ladders, and other shop equipment is necessary.
