We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that contribute to the durability, aesthetic appeal, and structural integrity of building projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship, efficient use of tools, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Construct, repair, and restore structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, plaster, stucco, and caulking to ensure strong bonds and seamless finishes.
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) for structural support in concrete forms and other masonry applications.
- Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools including saws and drills safely and effectively.
- Perform concrete forming tasks for foundations, walls, and other structures; execute concrete finishing with smooth surfaces and textured effects.
- Collaborate with carpenters, roofers, heavy equipment operators, and other tradespeople on complex renovation or new construction projects.
