Job Title: Meat Department Associate / Meat Packer
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Meat Department Associate to support daily operations in a grocery store meat department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a meat department and be comfortable with meat packing, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Package, wrap, label, and stock meat products accurately

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and coolers

Follow food safety, health, and company standards at all times

Assist with product rotation and inventory control

Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean department appearance

Support other meat department duties as needed
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience working in a grocery store meat department preferred

Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices

Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs
