Job Description A Day in the Shop

Step into our Tampa, FL facility and take charge of a precision sheet metal folding brake used to form roofing and architectural components. From powering up and verifying specs to delivering accurate bends, you’ll own a key stage of our production flow.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up the folding machine based on work orders and specifications, verifying tooling and parameters before the first bend.
  • Operate the folder to produce parts to exact measurements, consistently monitoring throughput and part quality.
  • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance to keep the machine running smoothly and safely.
  • Inspect finished parts, making real-time adjustments to achieve precise angles and dimensions.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workstation and follow all safety protocols.
  • Partner with teammates and supervisors to hit daily and weekly production targets.
  • Accurately document production counts, settings, and machine performance data.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
  • Experience operating a folding machine or similar metal-forming equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and strong math skills, with the ability to interpret roof pitches and calculate exact bend degrees.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with production deadlines.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime when needed.

Location & Schedule

This role is based in Tampa, FL. Work hours may vary to support production demand; overtime may be required.
