Gerleco Electrical Contractors is seeking an Area Manager for our Tampa office.
Since 1993, Gerelco Family of Companies has proudly provided services to the Florida market. Our experience has passed through 3 generations, since our start in Connecticut in 1955.
We currently employ over 300 skilled field personnel throughout the state and have one of the most experienced management teams in South Florida. With the principles of our team having over300 years of combined experience.

Essential Functions
- Manage operational, financial and sales functions to ensure the division is meeting company goals
- Drive business growth by conducting market research and identifying new opportunities; develop long term relationships
- Complete construction bids and monitor bid activity
- Coordinate and assist in the proposal process
- Collaborate with estimators, contractors, and customers for on-time project outcome
- Ensure all jobs are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Management of staff
Work Environment
- This position operates in a professional office as well as in the field. Exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise is to be expected when visiting a job site.
- Travel within branch territory required with some occasional statewide travel
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years business development experience
- Minimum of 5 years electrical construction experience required
- Minimum of 5 years management experience required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
- Clean valid Florida drivers license
