Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and laboratory testing procedures. The ideal candidate will understand and follow proper x-ray techniques as outlined in our practice manual. Additional responsibilities include performing laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry, as well as conducting phlebotomy procedures such as venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic medical x-rays according to established procedures.
  • Conduct laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.
  • Perform phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in the healthcare setting.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in laboratory and medical procedures.
  • ARRT, BXMO, BMO, RT certifications.
  • CPR and BLS certifications.
  • Associates degree and graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO).
  • Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO), Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License, or Florida Department of Health Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with X-ray in a healthcare setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Spanish-English proficiency.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits and opportunities for cross-training in laboratory roles. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, and every other Saturday, 8am-1pm. The position requires onsite work, floating between locations including Plantation, Weston, Coral Springs, Hollywood, and Pembroke Pines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
