Compensation:
- $25 - $30hr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Yard Associate:
- Thoroughly washing and cleaning all types of heavy equipment.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly yard and shop area.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of equipment.
Parts:
- Cycle Counts
Mechanic Field/Shop
- Mechanical Expertise: Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, and other essential components of heavy machinery.
- Electrical and Hydraulic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment.
- Diesel Systems: Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, addressing issues related to fuel systems, exhaust, and emissions.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement preventive maintenance procedures to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent breakdowns.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and those around you.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and work performed.
- Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
- On-Site Maintenance and Repairs: Travel to customer job sites to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct repairs on heavy equipment.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Yard Associate Job Requirements:
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Safe Driving Record: Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction and heavy equipment.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Mechanic Field/Shop Job requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) to seven (7) years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Equipment Experience: A history of working with different forms of heavy equipment, specifically foundation equipment (vibratory and/or diesel hammers), drill rigs, cranes, excavators, and earthmoving equipment.
- Driving Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant driving experience is required.
