Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in CVOR
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA is required
- Proven expertise in cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgical procedures
- Familiarity with updated scrub policies effective January 1, 2025, including color-coded scrubs adherence
- Availability for on-call weekend and weekday shifts
- Strong ability to adapt and float to Main Operating Room when necessary
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams during cardiac, vascular, and robotic operations
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and safety protocols
- Participate in preoperative and postoperative procedures to prepare and maintain the operating rooms
- Follow the updated scrub policy by wearing hunter green scrubs in alignment with the CST/CSTFA role
- Respond to call requirements including one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week, providing support as needed
Schedule/Hours:
- Shift from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Orientation sessions available every other week
