Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Lehigh Acres, FL area, serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position runs from early January through the end of May, offering a comprehensive experience across multiple school locations primarily in the East Zone. Flexibility for part-time schedules may be considered.
Location:
Lehigh Acres, FL (multiple schools including Lexington Middle School near Naples)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech and language disorders to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), if applicable
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship status accepted
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Ability to manage varying caseloads across multiple locations
- SLPAs considered with appropriate supervision provided by an SLP
Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: January 5 to June 1, 2026
