Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students within a vibrant Southeast Florida school district. This contract position begins January 15, 2026, and runs through June 2, 2026, offering full-time and part-time assignments at multiple schools, including middle and K-8 campuses, along with a private school evaluation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services across various school settings, including Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, Oak Hammock K-8, and district office evaluation sites.
- Manage caseloads independently, providing direct therapy and completing evaluations for a diverse student population.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Serve students in general education as well as specialized settings, including InD units and Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster sites.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and district protocols.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for evaluation team assignments.
- Experience ranges welcome; pay scale reflects years of school-based experience from entry-level to seasoned practitioners.
- Ability to work independently in campuses where no other SLP is on site.
- Flexibility to serve multiple locations with varying schedules is essential.
