Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out process
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays/payments
- Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with administrative duties (scanning, faxing, filing)
- Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations (if applicable)
- Support providers and staff with daily clinic operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual [English/Chinese/Spanish/Vietnamese/etc.] a plus
- Proficiency with EMR systems (will train) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and compassionate attitude
