Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist – Occupational Therapy for a permanent opportunity in Miami, Florida.

The Certified Hand Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. This role supports patients across the lifespan and focuses on functional recovery, hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, and positive patient outcomes while maintaining efficient resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician.

• Provide age-appropriate occupational therapy services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

• Deliver specialized hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation interventions.

• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities assigned to support staff.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team members.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and program growth activities.

• Maintain compliance with infection control, equipment training, safety, and fire safety standards.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• $32.62/hour (minimum)

• $40.82/hour (mid-range)

• $48.93/hour (maximum)

Additional Information

• Shift differential: $3.00/hour (where applicable)

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapy license for the position being applied for.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.

• 1–2 years of hand therapy experience preferred.

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.
