Project Coordinator - Commercial Construction
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join a growing construction group based in Delray Beach, Florida. This position supports the Chief Engineering and Senior Leadership teams on large-scale commercial and civil projects across the U.S., ensuring precision and organization in all aspects of project execution.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the construction industry and is skilled in coordinating permitting, bidding, contracts, and project documentation for federal, state, and private-sector work.
This is a full-time, in office position Monday - Friday. No opportunity for remote / hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily coordination support to the Chief Engineer and executive leadership team on active and upcoming projects.
- Manage permitting, bonding, and contract administration for both federal and state-level projects.
- Support bidding and proposal preparation, ensuring compliance with client and agency requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, submittals, and change orders through Procore or Viewpoint Vista (construction management software).
- Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables using advanced Excel reporting tools.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure effective communication.
- Assist with account management activities and project expansion initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of project coordination or administrative experience in commercial and/or civil construction (required).
- Strong understanding of bidding, permitting, and contract processes.
- Proficiency in Procore or Viewpoint Vista preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
