Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder proficient in reading blueprints and drawings to perform TIG and MIG welding on various materials such as aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel. The role involves building fixtures, setting up for precision sheet metal fabrication, and ensuring that all work meets the specified fabrication standards. You will work with tight tolerances and primarily with stainless steel and aluminum.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on aluminum, mild steel, and stainless steel.
- Build fixtures and set up for precision sheet metal fabrication.
- Check completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards.
- Work with tight tolerances to achieve precise results.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG Welding with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Capability to perform TIG welding on all metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, in all positions.
- Experience with spot welder setup, including tooling selection and machine setup.
- Ability to read blueprints and determine quality requirements.
- Dependability and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in building fixtures and setups for precision sheet metal fabrication.
- Ensure outstanding quality and optimum efficiency are consistently achieved.

Work Environment and Shift
The work environment includes a climate-controlled workshop with openings for two shifts.
First Shift: 7AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday
Second Shift: 3:30 pm to 12 am, Monday to Friday
Some overtime work may be required. Employees must bring their own welding hood and wear steel-toed boots.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
