JOB DUTIES

• Control access to the facility ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors and visitors are permitted on site.
• Maintain surveillance, check all lobby and garage doors on site to ensure the perimeter and buildings remain secure.
• Monitor cameras, fire, & security systems.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to identify security risks, safety hazards, lighting and maintenance issues.
• Complete daily security log, incident reports, and other mandated reports per the job assignment and post orders.
• Other duties assigned as per the Manager’s direction
• Part-time hours of 16 hours per week. Additional shifts may be available from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have valid Driver’s License.
• Must have computer skills. We will train on access control and building database.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must have the ability to conduct extended foot patrols.
• Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs when needed.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Team, Owners and others.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate computer records and reports.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations as per procedures. CPR, First Aid and AED training provided.
• Ability to hear & see in low light situations.
• Capable to work outside in extreme weather conditions for a short period of time.
• Capable of comprehending and implementing site-specific policies and standard operating procedures.
• Customer service: 5 years (Required)
• Security Guard: 1 year (Required)
