Job DescriptionDue to our recent expansion, we have an opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic luxury home building company.
Our project managers form the backbone of a team of dedicated professionals who are driven to provide our clients with a world-class experience while helping our clients realize their drams of building a one of a kind luxury home.
Responsibilities Include:
Team leadership of Assistant Project Managers
Review Plans, create budgets and specifications sheets.
Review and visit construction sites with the Construction Managers to ensure project scope and timelines are being met as well as established quality guidelines.
Build and maintain subcontractor relationships.
Sign purchase orders/scope of work that corresponds to the approved budget.
Review invoices with Construction Managers to ensure project budgets are met.
Interact with selection coordinators and interior designers to ensure information conveyed to vendors and Construction Managers is accurate and complete.
Identify and take advantage of opportunities to enhance profit margins through strategic purchasing opportunities.
Create change orders related to project cost overages.
Along with the Construction Managers facilitate excellent client communication through BuilderTrend, emails and telephone calls.
Requirements:
Budget and estimating experience in residential construction.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the purchasing and estimating functions within a residential construction company.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
Ability to meet critical deadlines.
Superior analytical and organizational skills
Drive to achieve and produce results on time.
Must be proficient in Excel
Experience in BuilderTrend a plus
