Job Description
As an Immigration Staff Attorney, you will join an interdisciplinary legal team to provide direct representation and legal advocacy for immigrants in Broward County. You will work on matters such as:

Naturalization
</li>
<li>
Green Card Renewals
</li>
<li>
Adjustment of Status
</li>
<li>
TPS Renewals
</li>
<li>
Removal Defense before Immigration Court and DHS
</li>
</ul>
We will train you in all areas of immigration law, and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills while making a real impact in people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Conduct legal consultations and provide immigration advice
</li>
<li>
Represent clients before USCIS, Immigration Court, ICE, and state/federal agencies
</li>
<li>
Draft immigration forms, motions, petitions, and court packets
</li>
<li>
Participate in case strategy sessions with your legal team
</li>
<li>
Advocate for immigrant clients in removal defense and other proceedings
</li>
<li>
Track time and outcomes in client database
</li>
</ul>
Requirement
<ul>
<li>J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school</li>
<li>Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state (Florida Bar membership not required)</li>
<li>Passion for social justice, immigrant rights, and serving vulnerable populations</li>
<li>No prior immigration law experience needed – we will train you</li>
