A registered nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings is needed for a contract role in Wauchula, FL, offering a 12-hour night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM with every other weekend required. This position involves providing stepdown care in a Medical/Surgical Hold Unit and requires floating to a nearby sister campus occasionally.

Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Every other weekend on call
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Contract length of 13 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the stepdown/PCU setting.
- Monitor and manage medical-surgical hold patients with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Float to a nearby sister campus as needed, demonstrating flexibility.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted).
- Minimum one year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Nursing scrubs worn in navy blue as per policy.
- Work history with no significant gaps over 90 days.
