Family Law Paralegal
Duties include:
Drafting petitions, motions, settlement agreements and judgments.
Preparation of financial affidavits, mandatory disclosure, equitable distribution worksheets and child support guidelines. Extensive client communications.
Scheduling hearings, mediation and depositions. Preparation of exhibits and trial notebooks.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3• years of recent and relevant work experience with a family law firm.
Ability to respond quickly and operate calmly and effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
Preferred skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Family Law Software, Amicus, Adobe and Outlook
