Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Clermont, FL is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students through an itinerant role within the district. This contract position runs through the current school year, requiring 15-20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement and monitor behavior strategies
- Provide training and coaching to school personnel on behavior management techniques
- Collect and analyze data to measure student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain compliance with national certification standards and district policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Current National BCBA certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel within the district to provide support at multiple schools
