Are you passionate about smart buildings and advanced automation systems? We’re seeking a Controls System Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming building automation control systems — all while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and re-commission building automation systems using pneumatic, electrical, and electronic technology.
- Program and configure software for both static and dynamic system commissioning.
- Calibrate systems using tools such as multimeters, network terminals, and laptops.
- Set up operator workstations with all necessary software and configuration.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date As-Built drawings using Visio, Excel, and Word.
- Perform daily backups of project databases and maintain system integrity.
- Oversee the transition from project completion to ongoing service support.
- Track project milestones and communicate progress with team leads and project managers.
- Complete all documentation promptly, including time sheets, expense reports, work orders, and project status updates.
- Conduct end-to-end testing, programming, and commissioning for assigned projects and accounts.
- Design and implement custom programming for specific job applications.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for on-site service, ensuring satisfaction through expert troubleshooting and repair.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to review building layouts, resolve technical challenges, and synchronize project efforts.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and security, ensuring proper handling of all company-issued tools and equipment.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (additional technical training preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in building automation controls.
- Strong background in HVAC controls, programming, networking, and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and working with commissioning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
