Riviera Health Resort has a job opening for a Speech Therapist who has experience screening, evaluating, and treating long-term care residents in a skilled nursing facility. Our long-term care residents may benefit from Speech Therapy services due to a stroke, dysphagia, memory deficits, aphasia, the need for voice therapy, preventing a decline in function, or the need for family education. This is a per-diem (PRN) position. The Speech Therapist would oversee our 100+ long term-care residents and help the other Speech Therapists with the short-term post-acute caseload. We are in need of a speech therapist with their certificate of clinical competency (CCC). Riviera is affiliated with several local universities, and our Speech Therapists participate as clinical instructors. Riviera Health Resort is a skilled nursing facility in Coral Gables, Miami, Florida. Riviera also offers Physical and Occupational Therapy services. Speech Therapists would work alongside physiatrists, dietitians, nurses and other members of the clinical and management team. Please apply for a tour of the facility and interview.
