Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Electrical Foreman to oversee commercial and/or industrial electrical projects in the Miami area. The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for supervising on-site crews, ensuring work is completed on schedule and according to code, coordinating with other trades, and maintaining job site safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead electrical crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Plan and schedule daily work activities, ensuring productivity and compliance with timelines.
  • Ensure installations comply with the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and tools; order supplies as needed.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen.
  • Ensure job site safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Conduct quality checks and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Must Speak English and be able to compose letters in English
  • Valid Florida Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Conditions:

  • Work is performed on construction sites in indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, kneel, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work.
