About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial interior projects. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are built safely, on schedule, and to CPM Builders high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities and subcontractor performance.
- Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with OSHA and company protocols.
- Coordinate daily scheduling, inspections, and deliveries.
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, and clients to ensure quality and satisfaction.
- Manage punch lists, closeout activities, and ensure project turnover meets expectations.
- Document daily site reports, changes, and communication updates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of field supervision experience in commercial interior construction or tenant improvements.
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple trades.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the Eastern United States.
- OSHA certification and valid drivers license preferred.
