Job Title: High School Teacher
Location: Central Christian Academy
Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Principal or Academic Dean
Job Summary:
Central Christian Academy seeks a dedicated High School Teacher to inspire academic excellence and student growth. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical values into instruction, foster a positive learning environment, and demonstrate a passion for educating the next generation of leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction in assigned subject(s) aligned with academic standards and biblical worldview.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-honoring classroom environment.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support students' academic growth.
- Participate in school-wide activities, including chapel services, staff devotions, and extracurricular events.
- Integrate biblical principles and Christian character development into daily instruction.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and student evaluations.
- Uphold and model the values, mission, and statement of faith of Central Christian Academy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master’s degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or in the process of certification (ACSI or state certification preferred).
- Prior teaching experience at the high school level is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Personal commitment to faith-based learning and demonstrated through lifestyle and testimony.
- Agreement with the Academy’s Statement of Faith and Mission.
