General Description: This position serves as the department research specialist on customer product inquiries and concerns. Serves as liaison with contract manufacturers for technical information requests, researches and supports foreign product registration needs and reviews internal QA documents for consistency and accuracy.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serves as point person to provide technical and research support for customer inquiries
• Prepares and maintains documentation for applicable product certifications such as Amazon and Stability Programs
• Serves as point person for complaint processing and complaint investigations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Supports LEF’s continuous improvement programs by analyzing trends in product issues and initiating the implementation of process enhancements.
• Serves as liaison with contract manufacturers on technical information requests
• Assists QA management in providing technical and research support for foreign product registration
• Reviews internal QA documents for consistency and accuracy
• Researches, maintains and reports on all Non-GMO and Gluten Free Affirmation activities
• Provides support in the review and approval of written materials and technical documents
• Provides support on various quality systems including raw material qualification, Consumer Labs, IFOS, Gluten-Free affirmation and label approvals.
• 2 onsite days per week s an essential function of this position
• Additional duties as needed

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field; 2+ years of dietary supplement experience or equivalent
• Ability to interact with associates on all levels and communicate effectively across several functional areas
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Ability to translate highly technical information so it is understandable for the target audience
