Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide speech-language therapy services as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in Stuart, FL. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) with a work schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement speech and language intervention programs for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and licensing requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license and Florida Department of Health (DOH) license required
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
